Peachy's Respite and Resource Service Mackay
Peachy’s Respite and Resource Service (Peachy’s) established in 2006 recognises the need in the community to support individuals with a disability, respite for carers of the Elderly, and youth in crisis care. Peachy's understand that there is a need for these individuals to be active members of their communities.
What makes Peachy’s different?
We are able to respond to individuals in an emergency, crisis, holiday and respite situations, that require flexible responses. We are able to provide skill based learning opportunities, Behaviour support plans and Communication Folders devised and implemented until a Permanent Service Provider has capacity. Peachy's recognise that 1:1 support provides unique opportunities for every individual who requires support in their home or community.
